HARDI Sets Record During 2010 Congressional Fly-In


161 meetings with legislators in about 8 hours. Growing every year, HARDI's third Congressional Fly-In held last week in Washington had over fifty members all over the Capitol advocating for an extension of the residential energy efficiency tax credits, passage of an improved Home Star bill, and long term estate tax relief and certainty, among other things.

HARDI Hosts First Energy Efficiency Exchange

AHRI's Sr. VP of Govt. Affairs, David Calabrese, kicks off the policy panel portion of HARDI's first Energy Efficiency Exchange, joined by ACEEE's President, Steven Nadel, and Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Senior Counsel, Deborah Estes. This policy panel was followed by an ENERGY STAR panel featuring four prominent program mangers for initiatives involving HVAC systems.

Congressional Fly-In & Regional Meeting Hotel Sold Out

HARDI's host hotel for the upcoming 2010 Congressional Fly-In and Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting is sold out over the May 17-19 dates. HARDI recommends that members in need of hotel accommodations book immediately at either the Marriott Courtyard, D.C./U.S. Capitol or the Residence Inn, D.C./Vermont Ave. which still appeared to have availability. Members still unable to find accommodations should contact HARDI immediately.

HARDI Announces Tucker Carlson as 2010 Fly-In Keynote


Fox News’ contributor, Tucker Carlson, has been confirmed to be HARDI’s keynote speaker at the 2010 Congressional Fly-In, May 18-19 in Washington, D.C. Carlson has hosted political talkshows on CNN, MSNBC, and PBS before moving to Fox News. He is also currently the editor-in-chief of TheDailyCaller.com, a recently-launched news and opinion site.
