EPA HCFC Phaseout Proposed Rules Formally Released

The two proposed rulemakings from the EPA on HCFC allocations from 2010-2014 and a ban on pre-charged equipment were published in today's Federal Register. Comments are due on the allocation rule by February 23, 2009 and on the pre-charged rule by January 22, 2009. There could be a public hearing on the two rules on January 7, 2009 in Washington, D.C.
