Small Business "Stimulus" Could be Key for HVACR Distributors

In an industry reliant on independent contractors, the recent stimulus bill's expansion of federal support for the Small Business Administration's (SBA) loan program could be a significant, if not vital, form of "stimulus" for the HVACR industry. This article outlines the Administration's initial plans for initiating the stimulus bill's SBA programs. HARDI will continue to study this but in the meantime distributor members may be well-served to have financial and/or accounting advisors review these expanded programs so the message can be passed on to contractor customers feeling the cash crunch.
