Politics' Pre-Season Football Preview?

While hardly riveting political analysis, this is an entertaining diversion. That being said, it is a curious question what sports would look like if, for example, every roster had to have X number of one group, Z number of another group (both of which, by the way, got to play by slightly modified rules), and at least 10% of the roster spots had to be reserved for less talented players.
