Senator Considering Cylinder Ban for Climate Change Bill

Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) is considering proposing a provision for the Senate's climate change legislation that would ban the use of non-refillable refrigerant cylinders, despite little evidence that such a ban would produce any significant environmental benefit. HARDI was successful at getting a similar proposal out of proposed regulations in California once the state realized the spike of shipping/transportation-related emissions such a ban could cause.
