Pessimism Still Plagues Small Business Owners

The NFIB's Small Business Optimism Index reported a slight gain in January from the previous quarter's report, however still marked seven consecutive quarters under 90 signaling a generally pessimistic business outlook for the near term.

While this is certainly understandable for many businesses, we should keep in perspective that our industry is one that:
  • Isn't going anywhere anytime soon- people need heating, cooling, and refrigeration
  • Is the focus of billions of dollars of incentive money to increase energy efficiency
  • Is not easily dominated by few, large companies at the local level

Innovative, pro-active HVAC companies found ways to succeed in 2009 and 2010 will be no different.
