1099 Provision in Healthcare Bill Could Cost Businesses Dearly

Thanks to ACCA for catching this one. A provision in the healthcare bill signed into law earlier this year would require businesses to file 1099's for every vendor transaction totally at year's end $600 or more including such ridiculous items as airline tickets, gas stations, and restaurants. Check out ACCA's blog for more details on this crazy provision, and what needs to be done to get it repealed before going into effect in 2012.
