Proposed HCFC Rules Present Whole New Set of Questions for Distributors

Late last week the EPA released "pre-copies" of their proposed rulemakings on the continued phaseout of HCFCs from 2010 through 2014. I've gotten through an initial review of the proposed cap and allocation of HCFCs and the proposed ban on pre-charged products and I believe every distributor of HVACR equipment, supplies, and refrigerant should carefully review what the EPA is proposing. I'm anxious to hear the thoughts and comments of those who sell these products as HARDI begins to prepare formal responses for the EPA.
