EPA Fact Sheet Attempts to Clear Up R-22 Questions

Yesterday evening the EPA released this fact sheet in an attempt to respond to a number of the concerns raised at their recent January 7 hearings. This fact sheet appears to reverse the EPA's recently stated intent to prohibit the servicing of existing R-22 air-conditioning and refrigeration systems. Review the fact sheet very carefully and watch for more information from HARDI in the near future.
