Administration Signals Flexibility with Big Business, but...

This article in today's WSJ is encouraging yet discouraging at the same time. On one hand, the business community has to be pleased to see the Administration's willingness to talk and potentially compromise on major initiative such as corporate tax policy and climate change legislation. On the other hand, there's been little indication that the real engine of the US economy- small businesses - are being given a chance to be heard. Mixing a populous message with meetings primarily with the CEOs of very large corporations seems inconsistent, but it's an important start.
