Senate Energy Bill May Establish Commercial Furnace Standard

Senator Mark Udall (CO) proposed an amendment at the Energy and Natural Resources Committee mark-up for the Appliance Standards Improvement Act of 2009 that would establish the first commercial furnaces efficiency standards. The amendment passed and will be part of a final bill that will go to the Senate floor sometime this summer.
