DOE Releases Funds for Energy Star Appliance Purchases

This just in from The News. $300 million for state incentive programs for the purchase of certain Energy Star appliances. DOE recommends HVAC and kitchen appliances as top priorities, but it's up to the states to decide how to use the funds. HARDI distributors should get in contact with their state energy offices now to get involved in their state's plan development to ensure that HVAC equipment is featured.
