HVAC Getting a lot of Interest in Energy Star Rebate Program

Several state energy officials said today that they would prefer HVAC products be the focus of the Energy Star Appliance Rebate Program that they have until October 15 for which to file plans with the DOE. While it still seems most easily tailored to white goods retail purchases, energy officials believe they'll get more "bang for their efficiency buck" by prioritizing HVAC products.
