Perhaps the Most Important Thing Heard at NASEO So Far is...

....about an effort to leverage ARRA and various state financing programs to negotiate down terms from private lenders for energy efficiency loans. Specifically citing consumer finance programs (that used to be) in the HVAC industry, this NASEO initiative may present an excellent opportunity for more reliable, affordable, and sustainable consumer (and commercial) financing market for energy efficiency upgrades (and for our industry to assist in the tailoring of these lending programs).
