EPA Lead Based Paint Regs for Contractors Possibly Nearing Effective Date

The EPA has proposed regulations mandating extra safety procedures that contractors must take when renovating buildings built in or prior to 1978. The regulations could become effective as early as April, 2010, but petitions have been filed by stakeholders to delay the effective date.
