Lobbying No Longer Dominated by "Corporate Profiteers"

For years many labor, environmental, and activist groups complained that corporate America and their seemingly unlimited resources dominated political discussions through their high-priced lobbying campaigns. While the premise remains questionable, the fact today as pointed out in this article is that organized labor alone has outspent the largest trade associations on lobbying efforts thus far in 2009.
